💫 In this episode, curator, writer, and host Zoë Goetzmann (@byzoesera) with internationally exhibiting sculptor, educator, and arts leader Isabel H. Langtry (@isabelhlangtry), Principal of Hampstead School of Art.
🗿 Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Isabel received her MA in pure sculpture from St. Martin's School of Art. Alongside leading Hampstead School of Art, she has built an internationally recognised sculptural practice, exhibiting and undertaking public commissions across the United Kingdom, China, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Spain, and Slovenia. Her public sculpture "POP", created from reclaimed steel, off-cut pipe, and glass, was installed in Berkeley Square, Mayfair.
💬 Beyond her own artistic practice, Isabel is the Founder of the London Sculpture Prize, serves as a judge for the Women in Art Prize (@women_in_art_), and works alongside Hampstead School of Art's distinguished patrons—including Sir Frank Bowling OBE RA— to champion the next generation of artists. She also serves on The Medical Arts Society and Sculpture in the Vineyards Biennale Australia.
